Kissing Cardinals on a Branch
Rust & Roses has been making metal birds for almost 5 years now. We wanted to create a realistic looking design with a practical bracket for attaching it. We are happy to introduce our cardinal design to our garden art products. What makes our cardinal unique is the bracket for installation. Rather than hammering a piece of bare metal into a tree, our design has a bracket so you can use screws or nails. We researched what would be the best way to attached the bird to a tree and arborists recommend using stainless steel or treated screws or nails. The other benefit of our design is if you don't want to put it on a tree or don't have a tree it will work on, it can easily be used in other places like fence posts, poles, mailbox posts, shed, porch, deck or even indoors.

Each sign is cut with a CNC Plasma Table. The sign is then sanded and cleaned before powder coating. The metal supplied will have scratches and machining marks from sanding. For information and tips on how to look after your sign check us out on social media or visit our website. Take care when installing your new sign, although we do our best to smooth over edges. Please bear in mind our signs are not toys and should not be given to children as some sharp edges can remain.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
No returns or exchanges but please contact us if you have any problems with your order.
Each item is made per order. Our normal turn around time is 1-3 weeks from when your order is placed. Depending on the circumstance, this can sometime be shorter or longer given the time of year. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Yes! We do custom orders. Please feel free to message us to discuss your custom design.
When you select "bare metal" the item you ordered is an untreated bare steel. If your item has a dark colour to it, that is still bare steel and will rust but at a slower rate than a polished bare steel. Bare steel will rust slowly in a humid environment and very fast when exposed to direct moisture. There are many products to protect the steel at various stages of rust or when polished. Please reference our FAQ section in the ABOUT page for tips.
